TerraCycle Zero Waste Bags

Recycle more from your doorstep!

Most common household trash isn’t typically accepted by local curbside recycling services, as a result, waste can pile up in landfills or is incinerated. The good news is that we have a solution for your hard-to-recycle waste–TerraCycle Zero Waste Bags.

Now with Zero Waste Bags, recycle everything from all plastic packaging to milk and juice cartons, coffee capsules, and more. Buy individual bags to fit your needs. Recycle what you couldn’t before!

How it works

1. Purchase: Purchase Zero Waste Bags in our online store.

2. Start Recycling: Fill the Zero Waste Bag with only one selected waste stream and seal it.

3. Drop off: Place them next to our compost bin (please do not put it in with the food waste).

4. Recycle: We’ll collect the Zero Waste Bags and return them to TerraCycle for recycling. TerraCycle guarantees that they recycle all the accepted waste sent to them.

What we recycle

We recycle trash you can’t typically recycle curbside. Each size Zero Waste Bag has a corresponding list of items accepted for recycling. Please refer to the Zero Waste Bag product description to see the list of accepted waste.

What happens to the items after you pick them up?

We send them to TerraCycle for recycling. TerraCycle guarantees that they recycle all compliant materials that are collected. The items are received by material recovery partners, where they are sorted into individual material components. Each material is then recycled into a raw format that can be used to make new products

How TerraCycle®
recycles the unrecyclable

TerraCycle can recycle the unrecyclable—items that aren’t typically curbside recyclable—because they partner with brands, retailers, and other stakeholders to fund the recycling process.

They’ve created first-of-their-kind recycling solutions for hundreds of types of hard-to-recycle trash, from snack wrappers to coffee capsules to beauty products and so much more. Read more about their recycling process here:  https://www.terracycle.com/en-US/about-terracycle/our_recycling_process
